What an unforgettable night at the soft opening of Berj Busua! The atmosphere was electric, as local children, seasoned artists, and travelers came together to celebrate the launch of “Fragments of Knowing.” This powerful group exhibition, curated by Kukua Kweku-Badu @thekukua , showcased the incredible works of Owusu Ankomah, Patience Kofuma Annan, Ray Agbo, Kojo Biney, James Cudjoe, Essel Ekuban, Mia Ghogho, Kobina Nyarko, Helena Ama Sackey, and Elijah Sofo.
The night wasn’t just about art—it was about community. Some of the muses quickly became local stars, sparking conversation and connections throughout Busua. The exhibition extended beyond the gallery walls with Kojo Biney’s ecological art installation and Ray Agbo’s conceptual performance, bringing Odo Valley into the multisensory experience.
A big thank you to the Goethe-Institut Nigeria @goetheinstitut_nigeria and the vibrant Busua community for making this opening such a success. The future of contemporary African art is alive and thriving right here in Busua!
