Born on August 16, 1984, Ferdinand completed his secondary education at Ebenezer Senior High in 2003-2004, specializing in business accounting. However, it was in his formative years in the community of Shukura that his love affair with art truly blossomed.

 

Shukura: The Cradle of Creativity

In the vibrant community of Shukura, Ferdinand honed his craft, crafting masks for mass production in his early teens. This period laid the foundation for his remarkable journey into the world of sculpting.

 

Apprenticeship with Masters

Under the tutelage of revered sculptors such as Master Donald N.A Williams, as well as collaborations with Masters Fred Okomate and Agorsor, Ferdinand further refined his skills. This apprenticeship provided him with invaluable insights and techniques, shaping him into the versatile artist he is today.

 

Mediums of Mastery

Ferdinand's artistic prowess knows no bounds. His portfolio encompasses a diverse array of mediums, including plaster, wood, plywood, fiberglass, mould making, casting, and even a touch of painting. This versatility enables him to breathe life into his creations with unparalleled finesse.
